You can change the game mode of any or all players by using the \/gamemode command in Minecraft<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \/gamemode command<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In Minecraft, the syntax for changing the game mode is : \/gamemode <mode> [player]<\/code><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The <mode><\/code> is the game mode you wish to switch to. It can be one of the following :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • survival<\/code> (can be abbreviated to s or 0 in the Bedrock edition) for Survival mode<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • creative<\/code> (can be abbreviated to c or 1 in the Bedrock edition) for Creative mode<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • adventure<\/code> (can be abbreviated to a or 2 in the Bedrock edition) for Adventure mode<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • spectator<\/code> for Spectator mode<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Note that “hardcore” is not a valid option, as it is not technically a game mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The [player]<\/code> is optional. This is the name of the player (or a target selector) you wish to change game mode to. If you don’t specify a player, the game mode will be changed for the player who executes the command.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      For Pocket Edition (PE), press the help command on the chat button at the top of the screen.
      For Xbox One, press the Xbox One D-Pad (right) on the controller.
