We all love Minecraft, there’s no doubt about that, but how can you play it if you don’t know how to install it? That’s why in this article you will learn how to install Minecraft on your computer. This tutorial won’t teach you how to crack Minecraft, an illegal practice that we don’t condone.
Installing Minecraft on Windows
Follow these steps to install Minecraft on your machine, note that you must first purchase Minecraft :
Download and install Minecraft easily :

Go to the Minecraft download page on the Minecraft.net website.

Click on the green DOWNLOAD button.

Double click on the downloaded installer.

Choose the folder on your computer to install Minecraft.

Click Install to start the installation.

Once the installation is complete, you will receive a message saying “installation complete”.

Launch the Minecraft logo file.

The Minecraft launcher should launch and you will be able to play Minecraft.
Now if you followed our guide correctly you should be able to play Minecraft on your PC.
Installing Minecraft under MAC OS X
The approach is almost the same as on PC :
- Go to the Minecraft download page on the Minecraft.net website.
- Click on the green DOWNLOAD button
- Double click on the downloaded .dmg installer.
- Drag the Minecraft logo to applications
- Launch the Minecraft logo file in applications
- The Minecraft launcher should launch and you will be able to play Minecraft.
Why install Minecraft?
In order to play Minecraft you will have to install it, it seems logical but not everyone knows it. Once this is done you can also install a mod or install a texture pack.
