Anyone familiar with Minecraft knows full well that the game’s general graphics are pixelated and primitive. While this brings a touch of simplicity and nostalgia, some may find this aesthetic rough and bland after a while.
So what’s being done to refresh the Minecraft graphical experience? Well, the amazing Sonic Ether Shaders (SEUS) is a great way to reinvent the game’s graphics from bland to stunning.

Yeah… hard to believe, right? However, this Minecraft shader by Sonicether does exist.
The shaders included, in addition to dynamic shadows, are “waving grass” and “bloom”. This means that grass, leaves, and fire move and a glare effect is visible on light-colored surfaces such as sand, sandstone, etc. This also works when looking at the sun. He also points out that this mod is currently incomplete and that there may be bugs, such as flashing shadows, bright sun in caves, or some problems with clouds.
Warning: this mod is very resource-intensive. That means that if you have a computer that has problems with Minecraft, don’t even try to install it. All you’ll do is either crash the game or freeze your computer, or have a visual output that is far from what you expected.
