Anyone familiar with Minecraft knows that the general graphics of the game are pixelated and primitive. Although this brings a touch of simplicity and nostalgia, some may find this aesthetic rough and bland after a while.
So what is being done to refresh the Minecraft graphics experience ? Well, the incredible Sonic Ether Shaders (SEUS) is a great way to reinvent the game’s graphics from bland to stunning.

Yeah… Hard to believe, isn’t it ? However, this shader mod by Sonicether does exist.
The shaders included, in addition to the dynamic shadows, are the “waving grass” and the “bloom”. This means that grass, leaves and fire are moving and a glare effect on light surfaces is visible, such as sand, sandstone, etc. This also works when looking at the sun. He also points out that this mod is currently incomplete and that there may be bugs, such as flashing shadows, bright sun in caves or some problems with clouds.
Warning : this mod is very resource-consuming. This means that if you have a computer that is struggling with Minecraft at the very least, don’t even try to install it. All you will do is either crash the game or freeze your computer, or have a visual rendering far from what you expected.
