A week after the release of Minecraft 1.20 (and its many new features), Mojang has concocted a Minecraft 1.20.1 update. This minor update corrects some critical issues and should soon be pushed to your launchers.
Bugs fixed in Minecraft 1.20.1
Several bug fixes have been made to improve the user experience. A major issue that was causing a disk authorization crash has been resolved, enabling smoother, more secure use of the system.
On the gaming front, a number of Realms-related issues have also been addressed. Among them, the bug referenced as MC-263244 has been corrected. This bug caused the Realms invitation icon to be incorrectly displayed on the Realms button in the main menu. In addition, bug MC-263245, which prevented the “Add Realms” interface buttons from being displayed in the Realms menu, has also been resolved.
Two other important corrections have been made. The first, MC-263296, concerned a game freeze following cancellation of server registration. This problem has been resolved, allowing users to browse and interact more freely with servers without fear of untimely blocking.
Finally, an incorrect call to Protochunk#setStatus when generating a chunk, identified under bug MC-263340, has been corrected. This improves the generation of playgrounds, contributing to a more stable and satisfying gameplay experience.
