Xray Mod Minecraft – 1.7.10 → 1.20.2

The Xray mod is a mod for Minecraft allowing to see through the useless blocks, such as earth, stone, grass and sand to let appear only the minerals sought by the player such as diamond, gold, iron, coal.

The mod also shows dungeons, chests and other objects made by the players such as doors or ladders.

This mod works in solo, but also in multiplayer on unprotected servers. For server administrators, you can protect your server using the anti-xray plugin.

Warning : this xray mod for Minecraft is forbidden on all multiplayer servers, if you use it in multiplayer, you may be banned.

We recommend the use of the Xray Ultimate texture pack rather than this minecraft xray mod.

⚠️ Please note that this version of the Xray mod is NOT COMPATIBLE with ANY type of Mod Loader such as Forge, Rift or Fabric – this means that you can only use Xray by itself and not with other mods.

This is mainly due to the way the Xray mod is installed in the base code of Minecraft, Modloarders use different coding techniques to install mods in conflict with the Xray method.

The current developer has stated that he will investigate the possibility of “modloader compatibility”, but there is no information on how long this might take.

Installing the Xray mod without Forge

You can install the mod in vanilla mod or with Optifine. You will find below a tutorial to do it both ways.

Xray mod with Optifine

The Xray mod (without Forge) is compatible with Optifine, follow the steps below to make them work together:

1. Download Xray and Optifine for the version of Minecraft you are going to play on.
2. Double-click on the Optifine Jar file and a popup should appear.
3. Click the [Install] button
4. A new pop-up window should tell you that “Optifine has been successfully installed”.
5. Double-click on the left on the Xray Jar file. In the pop-up window, click on the small down arrow in the drop-down list and make sure that the Optifine installation is selected.
6. Click [Install].
7. A new pop-up will appear. Be sure to click [Create a New Profile], otherwise Xray may conflict with Optifine.
8. In the next window, choose an appropriate name or keep the default. Click [OK] and another window should appear “Xray has been installed/updated successfully”.
9. Open the Minecraft Launcher, make sure the correct Optifine / Xray profile is selected, then click [Play].
10. Once the game starts, you can check that Optifine is installed by clicking [Options]> [Video Settings] and in the corner it should show something like “Optifine HD F3 Ultra”.
11. By clicking on [Options]> [Controls] and scrolling down, you should see a section called “Xray”.
